How We Help With These Conditions

Whatever you are facing, treatment starts with understanding you. Our therapists draw on proven, evidence-based approaches, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based techniques, and tailor them to your goals. During your first session we listen, get to know your situation, and build a plan that fits your life. Select any condition above to see how we approach it, or explore all of our therapy services.

Affordable, Accessible Care

Support should be within reach. Sessions at 101 Psychotherapy start from $100, and every new client is welcome to a free 30-minute initial assessment, so you can meet your therapist before committing. While psychotherapy is not covered by OHIP, we provide receipts you can submit to most extended health benefit plans. Choose in-person appointments at our Vaughan clinic or secure online sessions from anywhere in Ontario, with daytime and Saturday availability.

Frequently Asked Questions

We help adults and young people with a wide range of everyday and clinical concerns, including anxiety, depression, panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), insomnia, stress, anger, difficulty being assertive, and ADHD/ADD. If your concern is not listed, contact us and we will let you know how we can help or point you toward the right support.

There is no single approach that is best for everyone. Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and mindfulness-based methods all have strong support for both anxiety and depression, and they are often combined. After your first session, your therapist will recommend what fits your symptoms, history and goals.

Many people reach out when stress, worry, low mood or a difficult life change begins to affect their sleep, relationships, work or day-to-day wellbeing. You do not need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. If you are unsure, a free initial consultation is a simple way to talk it through and decide what feels right for you.
